The GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team returns to action this weekend (10–12 July) at the iconic Donington Park circuit in Great Britain for the eighth round of the 2026 FIM Superbike World Championship, the final event before the summer break.

Following encouraging performances in recent rounds, Remy Gardner heads to the British venue determined to build on the progress made over the last few races. The Australian rider and his crew are aiming to maintain their positive momentum and deliver another competitive weekend before the championship pauses for the summer.

Stefano Manzi shares the same objective as he continues his rookie WorldSBK campaign. The 2025 FIM Supersport World Champion has been making steady progress aboard the Yamaha R1, improving his confidence with the bike at every round. The Italian is targeting another solid weekend at Donington, with the goal of starting strongly from Friday's opening sessions to lay the foundations for a competitive race weekend.

Joining them once again will be the Terra&Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team, with Maria Herrera and Natalia Rivera competing in the penultimate round of the 2026 FIM Women's Circuit Racing World Championship. The team currently leads both the Riders' and Teams' standings, while Herrera has the opportunity to secure the 2026 WorldWCR title at Donington Park.

Following Friday's Free Practice sessions, the WorldSBK field will return to the track on Saturday for the Superpole qualifying session at 11:15 local time, before Race 1 gets underway at 15:30. Sunday's schedule features the Superpole Race at 11:10, followed by Race 2 at 15:30 local time.

Remy Gardner: "We're looking forward to carrying the momentum into another race weekend after the encouraging results and progress we've made over the last few rounds. We've taken some important steps forward with the bike, and that's given us more confidence heading into Donington. I've had some good experiences here in the past, so hopefully we can put together another strong weekend, stay close to the leading group, and confirm the improvements we've made before heading into the summer break with positive momentum for the final part of the season."

Stefano Manzi: "It hasn't been the easiest rookie season, but we've continued to improve together at every round and I'm confident we can keep moving in the same direction at Donington. My feeling with the Yamaha R1 is getting better all the time, and the goal is to be as competitive as possible and fight closer to the group throughout the weekend. A strong result in Great Britain would be a great reward for everyone after all the hard work we've put in over the past months, and it would certainly be the perfect way to head into the summer break."
