The Terra&Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team wrapped up a competitive Saturday at Italy’s Cremona Circuit for Round 2 of the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship, with Sara Sánchez fighting hard to finish fifth in Race 1.
The day started with Warm Up 1 at 09:30 local time, where both Sánchez and her teammate Natalia Rivera used the session effectively to prepare for the race. Sánchez (#64) ended the session 13th, while Rivera (#20) placed 10th.
At the start of Race 1, Sánchez had a difficult launch from the second row, dropping to sixth on the opening lap. Despite the setback, the Spanish rider showed strong and consistent pace throughout the 12-lap race, eventually reclaiming fifth and securing valuable championship points.
Rivera, making just her second appearance in the World Championship, showed steady progress and good race rhythm. After a promising start, the 18-year-old steadily worked her way forward, demonstrating solid late-race pace to finish 14th and earn more points for the season.

Natalia Rivera – P14
“We’re making progress step by step, and I’m confident we’ll be in the mix soon. Today was a tough race, but I managed to be consistent and gather valuable experience. It’s another step in the right direction. We’ll take the positives from today, continue working hard, and aim to improve again tomorrow in Race 2.”
