Remy Gardner and Dominique Aegerter are ready to return to action this weekend at the Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic for Round 5 of the 2025 FIM Superbike World Championship.
Following a solid outing in Cremona, where Gardner scored valuable points with consistently strong performances, the GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team is determined to build on that momentum and deliver another competitive weekend.
Gardner enjoyed a strong performance at Most last year, finishing in the top five in both feature races and narrowly missing out on a podium in Race 2. On the other side of the garage, Aegerter also delivered a positive weekend, adding important points to the team’s tally.
The weekend schedule features Free Practice sessions on Friday and the Superpole Qualifying on Saturday morning. Race 1 is set for Saturday at 14:00 local time (CEST), with the Superpole Race at 11:00 on Sunday, followed by Race 2 at 14:00.
Remy Gardner: “It’s great to be back on track so soon, especially while we’re in a good place both mentally and physically. The last two rounds showed we’re capable of fighting at the front, and the goal is to start the weekend strong to set ourselves up for success. I had a good run here last year and was close to the podium, so I hope we can repeat that and continue improving our performance.”
“I’m really looking forward to racing at Most again. We’ll also be testing some new tyres, so I’m curious to see how they perform. It’s a unique circuit and I’ve always enjoyed riding here. The aim is to put together a strong weekend with the team, improve our pace, and get back to fighting at the front. I believe we have the potential—and hopefully the weather will stay on our side too.”: "Non vedo l’ora di tornare a correre a Most. Avremo anche la possibilità di testare nuove gomme, quindi sono curioso di vedere come si comporteranno. È una pista particolare e in passato mi sono sempre divertito qui, perciò spero che riusciremo a costruire un buon weekend insieme al team. L’obiettivo è migliorare le nostre performance e tornare a lottare davanti, sono fiducioso che ne abbiamo il potenziale. Speriamo anche nel bel tempo per tutto il weekend!"
