The Terra&Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team returns to action this weekend (April 17\u201319) at the legendary TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands, which will host Round 2 of the 2026 FIM Women\u2019s Circuit Racing World Championship. Maria Herrera and Natalia Rivera are both eager to get back on track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following a strong season opener in Portim\u00e3o, reigning World Champion Maria Herrera is determined to build further momentum and consolidate her championship lead. The Spanish rider has enjoyed success at Assen in the past, including a win and a third-place finish last year. After securing pole position, a victory, and a second-place finish in the opening round, both rider and team are aiming to replicate that performance this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teammate Natalia Rivera is also targeting a solid weekend. In Portugal, the young Spanish rider consistently battled for fourth place in both races, demonstrating steady progress and competitive pace throughout the event. The 19-year-old made her WorldWCR debut at Assen last year, and with greater experience and familiarity with both the track and the championship, she is aiming even higher this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event schedule features free practice and Superpole qualifying on Friday. Race 1 will take place on Saturday at 12:00 CEST, followed by Race 2 at the same time on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
