The GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team returns to action at the legendary TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands for Round 3 of the 2026 FIM Superbike World Championship, taking place from April 17\u201319. Remy Gardner and Stefano Manzi are both eager to get back on track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following a solid Round 2 in Portim\u00e3o, Remy Gardner is looking to continue building momentum in the Netherlands. The Australian rider has fond memories of the Dutch venue, having secured his first WorldSBK podium there in 2024, followed by another podium finish in 2025. Now 28, Gardner is excited to return to a circuit that suits the characteristics of his Yamaha R1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rookie Stefano Manzi is also keen to resume racing after making encouraging progress in the previous round. The 2025 WorldSSP Champion aims to build momentum, reduce the gap to the front runners, and continue improving on the Yamaha R1 at a track where both he and the team have achieved strong results in the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team will once again be joined by the Terra&Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team, with Maria Herrera and Natalia Rivera competing in Round 2 of the WorldWCR season. Herrera impressed in the opening round with a win and a second-place finish, while Rivera fought for fourth place in both races.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Track action begins on Friday with free practice sessions. Superpole is scheduled for 11:15 local time on Saturday, followed by Race 1 at 15:30 (CEST). On Sunday, the Superpole Race will take place at 11:10, with Race 2 set for 15:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remy Gardner: <\/strong>\u201cIt\u2019s great to be back racing, and we\u2019re all looking forward to the weekend in the Netherlands. We\u2019ve had strong results here in the past, and it\u2019s a track that suits our bike well. After showing good speed and progress in Portim\u00e3o, we\u2019re confident we can put together a solid weekend. It won\u2019t be easy, as the competition is very strong, but we believe we have what it takes to achieve good results.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stefano Manzi: <\/em><\/strong>\u201cIt\u2019s always great to be racing, and I\u2019m really looking forward to Assen. We made good progress in the previous round, and the goal now is to keep improving and close the gap to the front. This track could suit us well, and I\u2019ve had positive results here in the past, so I\u2019m hopeful for a strong weekend.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
