The GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team was back on track today at Motorland Aragon, Spain, for the first day of free practice at Round 10 of the FIM Superbike World Championship. Remy Gardner and Dominique Aegerter ended the day 13th and 15th overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The morning\u2019s Free Practice 1 proved challenging for both riders, but they still collected valuable data for the weekend ahead. Aegerter set a best lap of 1\u201950.333 to finish 14th, while his Australian teammate followed in 18th with a 1\u201951.072. Both completed the session on a single set of tyres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon session, the pair focused on race distance and consistency, making notable progress. Gardner improved his time by 1.589 seconds to finish 13th with a 1\u201949.483, while Aegerter was close behind in 14th on a 1\u201949.574. The team chose not to use a qualifying tyre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was a demanding day, but there\u2019s room to improve. FP1 was tricky, but we made steady progress in the afternoon, concentrating on race pace and race tyres. We\u2019re still not as close to the front as we\u2019d like, but I\u2019m confident we can take another step forward tomorrow.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
