Sara S\u00e1nchez and Natalia Rivera are set to return to action this weekend at Magny-Cours, France, as the Terra&Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team lines up for Round 5 of the FIM Women\u2019s Circuit Racing World Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both riders will be competing aboard their Yamaha R7 machines at a brand-new venue for the WorldWCR paddock, as Magny-Cours makes its debut on the series calendar. S\u00e1nchez and Rivera had the opportunity to test at the French circuit a few weeks ago, giving them an early taste of the layout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first half of the season, S\u00e1nchez delivered consistently competitive performances, regularly fighting for podiums and victories. She currently sits fourth in the overall standings and has her sights set on breaking into the top three \u2014 and claiming her first win of the year \u2014 in the remaining four races.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other side of the \u201cgarage\u201d, it\u2019s been a promising debut season for 18-year-old Rivera. The Spanish rider has shown steady improvement round after round and is now aiming to close the gap to the front and fight for stronger results as the season resumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The race weekend will kick off with Free Practice and Superpole Qualifying on Friday, followed by Race 1 on Saturday at 11:50 local time and Race 2 at the same time on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sara S\u00e1nchez: <\/strong>\u201cI\u2019m excited to be back racing, and it\u2019s great to welcome a new circuit to the WorldWCR calendar. I had the chance to ride a few laps here a few weeks ago, and I\u2019m looking forward to racing alongside the WorldWCR grid this weekend. Our goal is to start strong on Friday and build towards two solid races, targeting podiums and fighting for the win. We\u2019ll also need to watch the weather, but I\u2019m confident we\u2019ll be ready for any conditions.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m really excited to start this new season and to continue working with the team. Last year was an important learning experience for all of us, and we made constant progress throughout the championship. Now it\u2019s time to take the next step. We finished 2025 close to the front group, and the goal this season is to be there consistently and fight for our first podium. I feel more confident, more prepared and more determined than ever. Having Maria as a teammate is a huge opportunity \u2014 she\u2019s a benchmark in this championship, and I want to learn everything I can from her. I\u2019m hungry to improve and ready to prove myself.\u201d <\/strong>\u201cWe\u2019re finally back after the Summer Break! I\u2019m really excited to race in France, especially at such a historic venue for WorldSBK. This will be our first time at Magny-Cours, but not overall as I was able to make a few laps here some weeks ago! Friday will be key for learning the track and preparing well. Overall, I think we had a solid first half of my rookie season, and now the goal is to keep progressing and be closer to the front group in every session. I\u2019m confident in the work we\u2019ve done and can\u2019t wait to be back on track!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
