The Terra&Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team enjoyed a successful final day at Donington Park, as Sara S\u00e1nchez returned to the podium with a solid second-place finish in Race 2, while Natalia Rivera secured her best result so far in WorldWCR with a well-earned ninth place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both S\u00e1nchez and Rivera made the most of the final Warm Up 2 session, showing strong pace ahead of the last race of the weekend. S\u00e1nchez (#64) set the third-fastest time, while her 18-year-old teammate Rivera recorded the sixth-best time in the short 10-minute session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the lights went out for Race 2, S\u00e1nchez launched well from P2 on the grid and quickly joined the fight for victory. Demonstrating impressive speed throughout the 12-lap race, she led at the beginning of the final lap, chasing glory at Donington Park. Despite narrowly missing the win at the penultimate corner, she crossed the finish line in second, returning to the rostrum with a strong performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Rivera also showed excellent progression. The 18-year-old continued to improve her lap times and remained in the battle for seventh until the closing stages. At the end of the race, the reigning Women\u2019s European Champion crossed the line in ninth, marking her first top-10 finish in WorldWCR and her best result to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs I said yesterday, fighting for the race win and finishing on the podium is a great way to end the weekend! The feeling today was better, and I was able to stay in the mix and fight for victory until the last lap. It\u2019s a bit of a pity to miss the win, but it only gives us extra motivation for Balaton \u2013 we\u2019ll be going for the win again! Big thanks to the whole team and everyone supporting me. I can\u2019t wait to be back in Hungary in two weeks!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
