Sara S\u00e1nchez delivered a standout performance for the Terra&Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team at the Cremona Circuit, Italy, fighting hard for a podium spot in the final race of the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day kicked off with the last Warm Up session at 09:20, where the #64 rider posted the third-fastest time. Her teammate, Natalia Rivera, finished the session in 13th, completing a series of productive laps ahead of the main race of the Italian Round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When lights went out at 12:45, both Terra&Vita GRT Yamaha riders made solid starts. S\u00e1nchez quickly positioned herself in the leading group, closing in on the top 3 with a strong race pace during the first half. Despite battling for the podium, a lack of grip in the latter stages prevented her from making a final push, and she ultimately secured a respectable 4th place finish, along with valuable championship points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Rivera was in the fight for a point-scoring position but faced unfortunate setbacks mid-race that forced her to drop back. Despite this, she recovered well, showing solid rhythm over the 12-lap contest, eventually crossing the line in 18th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat was definitely a better race, but still not quite enough. The fact we\u2019re not satisfied with fourth place shows how hungry we are for more. I managed to keep a strong pace almost until the end, and being able to close the gap to the top three after being a bit behind is really encouraging. We\u2019re making good steps forward, but we still need to improve my feeling on the bike to really fight for the win. Still, I\u2019ll take the positives \u2014 we\u2019ve made progress every day this weekend, and I\u2019m confident we\u2019ll come back stronger in the next round.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur pace wasn\u2019t bad at all, but unfortunately we couldn\u2019t turn it into points. I had a good start and was enjoying the battle, but some bad luck and technical issues forced me to lose ground. I tried to fight back and put in some solid laps, but the gap was too big. We\u2019re learning every time we hit the track, and I\u2019m sure we\u2019ll show our real potential starting from the next round, solving the issues we are facing actually.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
