The upcoming weekend will mark a significant milestone as the Terra&Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team makes its official debut in the FIM Women\u2019s Circuit Racing World Championship. Riders Sara S\u00e1nchez and Natalia Rivera will take to the track at the legendary TT Circuit Assen from April 11\u201313, as the Dutch venue hosts the inaugural round of the 2025 WorldWCR season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the team\u2019s official presentation, both riders are set to compete aboard their Yamaha R7 machines, ready to begin this exciting new chapter. The TT Circuit Assen will also feature for the first time in the newly launched WorldWCR calendar, adding further prestige to the opening round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In preparation for their debut, the Terra&Vita GRT Yamaha squad completed a successful two-day testing session at Cremona Circuit last week. S\u00e1nchez and Rivera made solid progress, familiarising themselves with the bike and gathering valuable data ahead of their first race weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will be the first time either rider competes at Assen. However, S\u00e1nchez had the opportunity to complete a few laps at the Dutch track in recent weeks, allowing her to get a first impression of the layout. For Rivera, the weekend will represent a full discovery process, as she adapts to one of the most iconic circuits on the calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event schedule includes free practice and Superpole qualifying on Friday, with Race 1 set to take place on Saturday at 11:50 CEST, followed by Race 2 at the same time on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sara S\u00e1nchez:<\/em><\/strong> \u201cWe\u2019re finally back to racing in the WorldWCR Championship, and I\u2019m so excited to begin this new adventure with the Terra&Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team! Starting the season at such a historic track like the TT Circuit Assen makes it even more special. We had a productive test last week in Cremona, where I got more familiar with this year\u2019s Yamaha R7. Now we\u2019ll aim to make the most of our potential in the Netherlands and be consistent contenders throughout the season.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Natalia Rivera:<\/em><\/strong> \u201cRacing in the WorldWCR Championship is such an emotional milestone for me, and I\u2019m really looking forward to starting this new chapter with the Terra&Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR Team. Our first official test in Cremona went really well \u2014 I got to know the bike, connected with the team, and improved in every session. It\u2019ll also be my first time at Assen, so the opening session will be key to learning the track.
